This month is named for Janus, who, in Roman mythology was the god of doorways, doors, hallways, beginnings and endings. So it is fitting that our month of January marks the ending of the old year while looking forward to the events to unfold in this new one. One other lingering word in our language linked with Janus is the word 'Janitor' as one who takes care of doors and hallways!
Now that we've entered the New Year, you may have begun to think of those you haven't seen in a while, and are thinking of planning a little driving adventure to fix that.
